How we met
Our love story is woven with serendipity and connection, a tale that began in the heart of Bali. We first met inside a pyramid at Pyramids of Chi, during a cacao ceremony that was as mystical as it was unexpected. It wasn’t love at first sight, but something just as profound—a spark, a feeling, a knowing that brought a warm glow into both our lives. We saw something indescribable in one another, a light that grew and blossomed into a deep and powerful love.
Our paths had already been parallel in many ways. Dean had been guiding men’s circles, holding space for growth and transformation, while Suzana was creating a safe haven for women’s healing. Our lives fit together effortlessly, like a glove embracing a hand. But it was in the ocean of Uluwatu where the universe sent its clearest sign—an ancient ruby sapphire ring, washed ashore and placed, almost by magic, onto Dean’s finger. It was as if the ocean itself blessed our union.
Today, we walk this path together, merging our practices to facilitate mixed circles and lead cacao ceremonies, sharing the power of connection and healing with others. Our journey is about creating spaces where people can find their light, just as we found ours—side by side.
The concept of "integrated humans"
"Int" or "Inner"
This suggests an inward journey, where introspection and self-awareness are key. It represents the "inner self" that must be explored and understood to begin the path toward integration.
"Grate" or "Great"
This could refer to the greatness of potential within every person. Recognizing one's own worth and potential is vital for personal growth and for cultivating compassion and understanding toward others.
"Hum" or "Human"
At its core, "hum" reflects the idea of humility and humanity. It’s the essence that makes us uniquely human, including our vulnerabilities, our emotions, and our capacity for empathy and connection. "Hum" also resonates with the essence of the mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum," where "Hum" signifies unity and grounding. It represents the dissolution of the ego, harmonizing compassion (the jewel) with wisdom (the lotus) to embody enlightened qualities.
"Man"
Beyond gender, "man" here represents humanity as a whole. It’s about transcending individualism and embracing a collective understanding, honoring the shared human experience.

We grow through life lessons and I don’t believe we have to suffer to learn, we can become our own guru as soon as we learn and accept to be who you are. When you give yourself time to “re-treat” yourself, you are opening a door of self knowledge, discovery and an open heart.
